On-premise SCADA,
without the SCADA project.

Argos 2.0 is configuration-driven: pick an asset type, give it an address, and you have live widgets, trends, alarms, reports and a full user log — running on your hardware, writing to your database.

No tag-by-tag screen building. No runtime licences per client. Replay any moment like a video, test every screen against a built-in simulator before the PLC is wired, and reach your plant securely from anywhere — without opening a port. The modern rebuild of the Argos product line that has been watching plants for over ten years.
The live demo is a real Argos 2.0 running in the cloud: press Try the demo to look at everything without signing up. Nothing you do can change it, and it resets every night.

New in Argos 2.0

Reach your plant from anywhere. Feed the systems management uses.

Two of the newest additions take Argos past the fence — without giving up anything that makes it on-premise.
Secure remote access

Your plant on any browser — nothing opened at the site

Argos dials out to the ScadaBOSS relay over standard HTTPS. Authorised people open yoursite.scadaboss.com from anywhere. No port forwarding, no VPN, no remote-desktop software to install.

You, anywhere RELAY ScadaBOSS INSIDE THE FENCE ARGOS dials out
  • Per-role access from outside: none, view only, or full
  • An authenticator code every time someone signs in from outside
  • Setup, licensing and the driver tools can never be reached from outside
  • Every outside action marked in the user log; switch it off at the plant in one press
Palantir Foundry connector

Plant data straight into Palantir Foundry

Argos sends readings to a Foundry HTTPS listener — paste the endpoint and credentials, send a test message, switch it on. Your operations data lands where your analysts and AI pipelines already work.

  • Every asset, or only the ones you tick
  • Each reading time-stamped and flagged good or bad
  • Changes every 10 seconds, a full refresh every 5 minutes
  • Nothing dropped: if Foundry is busy, Argos holds the readings and catches up
Why on-premise?

Inside the fence — with remote eyes when you want them

Some operations want their SCADA inside the fence: no cloud dependency, data that never leaves the building, screens that keep working when the internet doesn't. That's Argos. And when you DO want remote eyes, one claim code publishes exactly the parameters you choose to ScadaBOSS — and the relay lets your own people sign in from anywhere.
ScadaBOSS Cloud

Monitoring as a service

  • We run the servers — nothing to install
  • Phone-first: fleet, map, alarms anywhere
  • Best for stations spread across the county
Argos 2.0 · On-premise

Your hardware, your database

  • Runs in the plant — works with the internet down
  • Your PostgreSQL or SQL Server, your retention rules
  • Best for plants, buildings, utilities and process lines
  • Optional: publish chosen parameters to ScadaBOSS, or sign in from outside through the relay
What's in the box

Everything a plant SCADA needs, already wired together

And an ⓘ explanation on every single element, so your operators train as they go. Light and dark themes, large controls, and every page works on a phone.
60×
Playback

Replay any moment like a video

Rewind an asset, a dashboard or a one-line to any time. Play up to 1800× speed, step reading by reading, jump to the next alarm or operator action — and share the exact moment as a link. "What happened at 2 a.m.?" answered in minutes.

SIMULATOR the real protocol, on your PC ARGOS
Built-in simulators

Test before the PLC is wired

Every protocol Argos speaks ships with a simulator that answers like the real equipment. Prove screens, alarms and reports on day one, and train operators on a live-looking plant without touching the real one.

One-line diagrams

See power the way you draw it

Sketch your distribution with 55 electrical symbols, then tie breakers, motors and meters to live values. Closed, tripped and in-alarm show at a glance; click any symbol to open its equipment.

ACK ON CALL THIS WEEK MonTueWedThu
Alarms & on-call

The right person, every time

HiHi / Hi / Lo / LoLo, rate-of-change, communication and quality alarms. Shift schedules, holidays, cover and escalation send each alarm by e-mail, text or push to whoever is on duty. Shelve nuisance alarms without switching them off.

Widgets & dashboards

Change once, update everywhere

Add a power meter and you get the power-meter tile and faceplate. Every kind of equipment is a widget: edit it in the drag-and-drop builder and every asset made from it updates at once. Anyone can build their own dashboards.

WORK CALENDAR
Maintenance

Manuals, parts and work requests on the asset

Attach manuals, wiring diagrams, photos and parts lists to each piece of equipment — straight from a phone camera. Request maintenance from an alarm, e-mail it to the crew and track it on a calendar through to done.

MONTHLY REPORT daily · weekly · monthly
Trends & reports

History you own, reports that run themselves

Everything trended into your database from the start; an 8-pen viewer with saved groups and CSV export. Daily, weekly or monthly reports on any value — averages, totals, run hours — e-mailed on schedule and kept as sent.

482 913 USER LOG
Security & operating record

Every action recorded, every login checked

Sign-in required, roles you can extend, authenticator-app two-factor by role, and HTTPS. Every action is logged with old and new values, the reason given, the plant's state at that moment and what happened next — never edited, never deleted.

METER TREE SUPPLY ORDER NOW · Steel WITHIN A DAY · Paint ENOUGH · Cartons
Energy & supply

Chase demand charges, never run out

Feeder-aware meter tree with period comparisons across your meters. For production plants, Argos works out from live consumption when each material is needed and when to order it.

Connects to your equipment

Talks to the controllers already in your plant

Each driver ships with its own simulator, a plain-language addressing guide with a "Try an address" check, and a driver test that records exactly what your controller answers — so commissioning is quick and nothing is guesswork.

Getting started

Running in an afternoon

Install on a panel PC, a server VM, or Docker. Point the Setup page at PostgreSQL or SQL Server — Argos creates its own database and tables.
Add a driver and start its simulator — demo assets let you explore every screen before anything is wired.
Add assets: pick the type, type the address. Widgets, trends and alarm limits come from the type — adjust per asset on one Configure page, with 7-day min/avg/max beside every limit box.
Optionally claim the site on ScadaBOSS for cloud monitoring, switch on secure remote access, or connect Palantir Foundry — or don't. It's your plant.
